| Reading League History | The Reading Football League is the largest Saturday Football League in the Thames Valley, providing football from Park to Pyramid level. The League has six divisions, with the Senior being part of the National League System as a feeder to the Hellenic League.
Formed in 1988, the League brought together over 100 years of local football, with the merger of the Reading & District and Reading Combination Leagues.
In addition to the League programme, three Cup competitions are run, which are sponsored by the Berkshire Trophy Centre. Division 3 & 4 compete in the Junior, Division 1 & 2 in the Intermediate, and the Senior & Premier Divisions in the Senior competition, which has it's final played at the magnificent Madejski Stadium, home of Reading football Club.
